Two phrases that really stick in my craw

"Weigh in" and "Sound off."

As in, "Our expert weighs in on why women love chocolate."

And, "Students sound off on the best ways to make a bed."

My plea to journalist-type people: find some new ways to say that people say stuff.

What I do instead of studying
